As a researcher, I am interested in solving practical problems using machine learning in a fashion that relies heavily on fundamentals from mathematics, physics, and statistics. I am also experienced in international gastronomy, Cuban salsa, musical composition, agriculture, and geography, while being a multi-instrumentalist and language enthusiast in my free time. While I currently live in New York, New York, my hometown is Rochester, New York, and I have spent time as a temporary resident of Silicon Valley, Connecticut, Switzerland, Romania, and Türkiye.
